Manufacturing


D&M has a dedicated and extensive workshop to manufacture our parts and systems in-house.

Our manufacturing and welding specialists are able to produce clean, complex products on our state-of-the-art machinery.

We are capable to produce vacuum chambers up to 4000mm.

Our systems are assembled, cleaned and tested in our cleanroom facilities.

 

Cleanroom

Many of our systems are assembled and tested in our cleanroom.

Techniques available in our cleanroom:

  • Assembly 20m2 with 3.2tons lifting capacity
  • Orbital welding
  • Testing:
    • Overpressure/pressure drop testing up to  15 bar (higher pressures on request)
    • Helium Leak Detection: 2x Helium leak detectors Adixen ASM, <1.10E-10mbar.l/s
    • Outgassing: NGQ250 (Next Generation Qualification) dimensions 700x700x500mm
    • Particle inspection: Hönle UV inspection
    • Packaging with low outgassing PE foil

Cleaning:

-Ultrasonic cleaning Aluminum – Stainless Steel              

-Dimensions: 700x450x600mm

(Alcalic cleaning, flushing, demineralised water)
 

Testing :

Our strength is to create custom design and manufacturing of low volume, complex systems.  As a result of having a dedicated engineering team of vacuum specialists, we have created an innovative approach and process knowhow.  Important competences are: Creativity and out of the box thinking.

Our goals is simple: produce systems to fulfil customer-specific needs with value for money.

  • Pumpdown behaviour/calculations
  • Outgas calculations on mono and system level

CNC Machining

Our strength is to create custom design and manufacturing of low volume, complex systems.

As a result of having a workshop of manufacturing and welding specialists we are able to produce clean and complex parts and systems from small dimension to big parts.

Materials that are manufactured are only Stainless Steel and Aluminium to prevent cross contamination and unwanted outgassing/evaporation.
 

Our goals is simple: produce systems to fulfil customer-specific needs with value for money.

    • 800m2 clean production area with lifting 3.2tons
    • Big chamber/milling up to 4000mm.
    • Welding(TIG-MIGMAG-Orbital) up to chambers 4000mm

Automation

Our goals is simple: produce systems to fulfil customer-specific needs with value for money.

Techniques used:

  • Beckhoff TwinCat 3.1 PLC programming / Siemens PLC programming
  • PC+ I/O board with Labview and SQL database

Competences:

  • Specific know-how:
    • Automated Pumpdown (pre-vacuum/bypass vacuum, switching between pumps in certain pressures)
    • Automated Heating/Cooling (sampleholders) up to extreme temperatures in vacuum
    • Automation of RGA Analyses
  • Automatic reporting in .pdf with SQL database
  • Automated sputtering/evaporation systems
  • Log-in with different user levels.
  • Trending of pressures and data
